Today the Nevada athletic commission removed marijuana from its list of banned substances. following the path blazed by other commissions which started with the precedent set by medical user and advocate Elias Theodorou in British Columbia, the commission is moving to an impairment test. Camiseta Selección de fútbol de Canadá If a fighter is impaired they cannot compete. other than that trace marijuana in Camiseta SL Benfica a fighter’s system on fight night is not considered a doping violation.
As reported by MMAFighting’s Damon Martin “In a unanimous vote by the Camiseta Real Sociedad Nevada athletic commission on Wednesday, marijuana was removed from the list of performance-enhancing drugs banned for athletes, and they will no longer face any discipline for a positive test.“
As news of this development broke the Kansas athletic commission took to twitter to note that they have also changed their policies for marijuana presumably falling back on the impairment test and nothing else.
I have reached out to both Nevada and Kansas for details. I will update this post with the full policies once released.
